When a couple tells me they are starting at 4am, I know we are working with people who take their wedding day seriously. And this couple did not disappoint. Every detail was thought through, every timeline planned to perfection. Getting ready in the early morning hours had its own quiet magic — the calm before the most beautiful storm of a day I have seen in a long time.
The bridesmaids looked stunning in rich purple silk dresses that popped against every backdrop the day offered. The flowers were just as vibrant — colorful, lush, and full of life. Every bouquet, every arrangement felt intentional and perfectly chosen for a couple who clearly loves the beauty of the natural world.
The Church Ceremony & Horse Carriage Ride
The ceremony was held at 11am at the church — and getting there was an experience all on its own. A horse carriage ride carried the couple through the summer morning, and even though the church was close by, every second of that ride was worth it. There is something timeless about a horse carriage at a wedding — it slows everything down and makes the moment feel like it belongs in another era entirely.
The summer day was warm and beautiful — a little on the hot side, but the groom and groomsmen handled it in style wearing light beige jackets that were the perfect choice for the season. Cool, elegant, and effortlessly handsome.
