A Perfect Summer Wedding at Lincolnshire Marriott Resort
Lincolnshire Marriott Resort wedding was the kind of day that reminds you why you love this work. A warm June evening, a gorgeous venue, two party buses full of people who were absolutely ready to celebrate — and at the center of it all, one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the privilege of photographing.
These two met online, and from the moment you see them together, you understand why it worked. There’s an ease between them, a comfort, a joy — the kind that doesn’t happen by accident.
Getting Ready at the Resort
The morning started right where the celebration would end — at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. Nidia and her bridesmaids filled one suite with laughter, nerves, and the kind of beautiful chaos that makes for incredible detail shots. Rings, florals, shoes, the dress — every little piece of the day carefully laid out and ready.
Meanwhile, Joe and his groomsmen were getting ready in another part of the same hotel, bringing their own energy to the morning. Ties being straightened, final toasts before the ceremony, big grins all around. The Marriott made it easy — everyone in one place, everything running smoothly.
Two Party Buses and a Church in Chicago
Then came one of my favorite moments of the entire day — the party buses.
With a wedding this size, you need two buses, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The bridesmaids on one, the groomsmen on the other, and the energy on both was electric from the moment the doors closed. Music up, windows down, everyone ready to celebrate Nidia and Joe all the way to Chicago.
The church ceremony was beautiful and moving — the kind of moment where the whole room holds its breath. Watching Joe see Nidia come down the aisle, surrounded by everyone they love, on a perfect June day — it was everything a ceremony should be.
Reception at The Grove Pavilion
After the ceremony it was back to Lincolnshire for the reception, held at The Grove Pavilion — one of three stunning event spaces the Marriott offers for weddings. And yes, all three were in use that night. The Lincolnshire Marriott Resort knows how to host a wedding.
The Grove Pavilion was the perfect backdrop for an evening like this. Elegant, warm, and just the right size to hold all the people who came out to celebrate these two. And celebrate they did.
