I love my work as a professional wedding and portrait photographer. My company, Lavita Photography is located in Lake Zurich, Illinois, where I live with my husband, two beautiful daughters, and our beloved Jack Russell tarrier named Rex. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for their encouragement, love and support. When I’m not shooting pictures around Chicagoland and the Midwest, you will likely find me traveling, gardening, or sipping some sparkling champagne!

I’ve been told my photography style conveys a believable, natural, and light sensibility – and I take that as a wonderful compliment. From the very beginning I’ve set out to capture the truth of each moment, and the more experienced I become, the more my passion and commitment grow. The best part of my job is seeing the smiles on my client’s faces when the discover we’ve “captured lightening”together!
